A relaxed shirt in mul cotton and tussar silk, built around a stripe that is created in two different ways. The vertical stripes come from dyeing the fabric in different colours, while the horizontal stripes are woven using tussar silk in mul cotton.

The result is a fabric with an easy rhythm of colour and texture, made into a shirt that feels relaxed, considered and very easy to live in.

DESIGN INSPIRATION

Some of my favourite memories of my grandparents are the ones where absolutely nothing was happening. Sitting around on a Sunday afternoon, talking about things we had already talked about, waiting for tea, watching the day move a little slower than usual.

There was always something about the verandah that made those afternoons feel longer. The stripes of this shirt came from that feeling. We played with colour and weaving to create them, dyeing the fabric to form the vertical stripes and weaving tussar silk with mul cotton to create the horizontal ones.

The whole fabric came together slowly, almost like those afternoons themselves. Nothing too loud. Just a little colour, a little texture and nowhere to be.

Catering to the hygiene standards for our products; all the exchanges received will go through a quality check by our team and would be further approved/declined for exchange. We reserve the right to not accept a return if;

  • the product/s are returned after use.
  • the products are damaged.
  • the products do not have all the tags.

Once we receive the returned item, you will be informed with a confirmation that we will process the exchange within 24-48 hours.
