DESIGN INSPIRATION

My grandmother grew this very specific little flower that seemed to bloom all year round. I remember being fascinated by it because there was almost always a few flowers on the plant, no matter when I went over. She told me it was called sadabahar, which quite literally means something that is always in bloom.

The flowers were tiny and delicate, but the plant itself was surprisingly persistent. I think that is what stayed with me. Something so small, quietly blooming away in a corner of her garden, year after year.

For the Periwinkle Shirt, we took that little flower and turned it into a hand-embroidered motif using French knots, satin stitches and chain stitches. Even the buttons are small wooden flowers. It feels a little like carrying a piece of her garden with me.

  • the products are damaged.
  • the products do not have all the tags.

Once we receive the returned item, you will be informed with a confirmation that we will process the exchange within 24-48 hours.
